Another Twitter app for the iPhone?

Yeah, I have another idea for an iPhone app (application). I call the idea Twitter Talk or Talk Twitter… Whatever… LOL anyway, this iPhone app would do what all other Twitter Apps in the iTunes store don’t. This app talks.

What if there was an iPhone app that read the Twitter post as they come in? What if you could post a Twitter post just by talking. Well this app would use a computer voice to read the Twitter posts and with the mic on the ear buds you iPhone can take dictation for a post to Twitter. Then read it back before posting. WOW! Were only dealing with 140 characters here, how hard can it be.

Along with the app reading the Twitter posts to you there are also Twitter stations. What a Twitter station? Think of it like a radio station. Each Station plays selected people by type. There could be a Twitter station that followed the top tech posters or a Station that followed celebrities. You can just use your own Twitter feed or make a short list just for reading.

That’s my idea for today… LOL

Enjoy!

Uploading video… with or without audio

Good Monday to ya,

Today’s idea is a simple one… I would like an option to upload my video to sites like YouTube or Flickr with or without audio… Or at least an option in YouTube and/or Flickr to disable audio. Why… Well first off removing audio is an extra step you need to do if you want to post video without audio. Second, I’m sure you found a great piece of video with something interesting to look at but in the audio you can hear voices and other things you may not want heard. Having this option on sites like YouTube or Flickr would be a nice time saving feature. Lastly, who knows, those people who don’t upload because they don’t want to remove the audio or don’t know how, may end up uploading something interesting to look at.

Just an Idea… maybe these site have this already and I can’t find it…

Most Wanted iPhone App

Most Wanted iPhone app idea…

Most Wanted and Most Wanted International app.

This iPhone app has pictures of people on  Most Wanted and International lists.Find useful information on the crime in your location. Dangers are all around you. Have warnings popup if you are in a very dangerous place and you should leave ASAP.

The app would have Most Wanted, GPS Warning, LoCal Stats, Tips to Stay Alive and Rescue Me in the app for your information.

The Most Wanted area could give you a quick list with pictures of the Most Wanted criminals. See pictures of other wanted criminals not in the top 10. There would be pictures of people involved with these criminals and pictures of Tattoos on criminals. Search to see if you happen to be close to where a Most Wanted person was spotted.

LoCal Stats could info on the average number of murders / rapes / pedophiles / robberies in your current location. Without this app you may not have known there were 3 prisons within 10 miles of your LoCal. Looking to buy a home? Search daily updated pedophile lists to see if they live nearby using you GPS. Quickly locate the police station.

In the Tips to Stay Alive section you can find instructions about topics like how to avoid pickpockets. Where not to go alone. There would also be basic self defense moves and where to buy Guns / Pepper Spray and Tazers for added protection.

Finally, there would be a big button to press for a quick Rescue Me from the police… hmm did I write police… I mean bad guys…

Could be ad supported by TV shows like CSI or 24.

I like this idea… may exist… don’t think so though… LOL

Enjoy!

Store Map App

Store Map App

What is the shortest way to shop? Well just make a list of the items you need to buy and the Store Map app will route you through the store fast. Never again will you pass up something just to have to go back. The Store Map will also make suggestions based on your current list that may save you money or find something you didn’t think of…

The app would have all the info of generic places like Costco, Safeway and maybe Wal-Mart and the layouts by store location. At a bookstore you could use your Store Map App to find the location of a book.

Crazy idea… may already exist… or may just be dumb… LOL Who shops in store anymore…

Enjoy!

25 Things I Didn't Want to Know About You Board Game Idea

25 Things I Didn't Want to Know About You Board Game Idea

Create a board game around the "25 Things I Didn't Want to Know About You" Internet Meme. Each person in the game creates a standard set of cards 25 to be exact for each of the 25 things. One side of the card has the game logo the other is plain text on white. The players all mix the cards together and place them on the board. Clearly the more people the better but if you don't have enough people there could be created a few sets of 25 things from famous people to use to fill in. Like most games the object of the game is to move around the board to the place to win or gather enough point to win. Simple enough. The game can be like Trivia Pursuit or Sorry or maybe Monopoly. Each player, when they get a card, must read the card outloud and the other players must each guess who it is. Fun happens!

Just a quick idea...

Walmart Mail Idea

Walmart Mail Idea…

Everyone has a Walmart somewhere near them, well at least here in the United States from where I live and work. I live between 3 Walmarts and pass several Walmarts on my adventures driving from San Jose, CA to Santa Barbara, Ca weekly. I guess this idea could work for Costco and maybe Starbucks if they had some sort of photo printing kiosk.

Right now Walmart has a photo kiosk and photo printing service at each location. The prints cost something like 15 cents to 20 cents for a 4 by 6 printed photograph.

My idea is if I were Walmart I'd offer everyone a free Walmart Mail address. The address could be something like john@walmart2209.com. Like an email the customer could give this to friends and family. Unlike email this address would have prints make at a given Walmart. This Walmart Mail address would be used to receive photo letters sent from the Internet or from a camera phone. The addresses would act like an email address except that the email was printed out at the Walmart. The idea is really for things like post cards and not regular messages but short messages can be printed on the postcards front and back.

There could be several ways to pay for this service, one being if a customer wanted to receive Walmart Mail that customer could give a gift card good for 10 or 20 prints. The prints could also be paid for at the location if the customer opts for this. I'd also make the prints cost around the same or less than normal mail postage. Right now I think US postage is 36 cents. The sender could also pay for the mail the normal way using the Walmart website. This doesn't necessarily have to be for Walmart it could work with store like Costco.

I think this is a specially good idea for a company like Walmart. Having Mail at a Walmart when you come to the store could be a great feeling. Walmart could also send you an email telling you that Walmart Mail is waiting for you. This would bring people into the store to buy other things when they pick up their Walmart Mail.

My mom live in Little Rock Arkansas. There's a Walmart down the street. I'm sure she goes there once a week/month. I could send a picture to her using this service and it would be waiting there for her the next time she shops. Some people just like physical pictures and mail this could be both.

I know I know... You hate Walmart.

I know I know... Why not just have the picture send to the email?

This is just an option for the customer maybe something for those who don’t use computers...

This is just an Idea

Apple Store Flash Mob idea

Apple Store Flash Mob idea

Start a Flash Mob at a given Apple Store. The Flash Mob will gather at given Apple Store and start a huge line waiting for the next iPhone. When asked why they are waiting in line everyone just says they are lining up for the new iPhone. Some people will bring folding chairs other will have sleeping bags in hand. Have people there with video cameras interviewing those inline about the new iPhone. After an hour everyone goes home.

Just an idea,
